OSS/BSS Test Engineer/OSS/BSS/Testing/IT/Manual Testing/Automated Testing/Contract/Germany/Düsseldorf/Frankfurt
Description
Reporting to the Test Manager, the OSS/BSS Test Engineer will require a depth of understanding within the Operational Support Systems & Business Support Systems and Integration & Test environments. The responsibilities below are focused on IT Systems and capabilities associated with OSS/BSS elements of the Service/Solution delivery.
The role includes:
* Establishment of test lab capabilities for OSS & BSS systems including definition of the IT test lab environment and establishing processes to manage test configurations.
* Implementation of the test principles and test methodologies defined in our clients Test Strategy;
* Generating Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts to demonstrate compliance with Contractual requirements within the bounds of the Test Policy and Test Strategy;
* Working with Product Suppliers, Partners, Vendors, Technical Leads and Integration teams to define methods of verification;
* Presenting verification methods to stakeholders and the Authority or Delivery Partner to obtain agreement on test and verification plans.
* Coordinating test stages for which our client is responsible for during mobilisation;
* Reporting to the Authority or Delivery Partner Client Stakeholders on matters relating to integration and test of IT Systems;
* Managing the successful execution of Test Plans for each stage of Mobilisation;
* Managing members of the test team for IT (OSS/BSS) Systems across Suppliers;
* Producing Test Readiness and Test Completion Reports and presenting status, results and issues to the Authority.
* Chairing Test Readiness, Test Washup and Test Completion Reviews;
* Conducting continual process improvement and lessons learnted test reviews with test teams;
* Working closely with the Integration and User Acceptance Managers for acceptance testing;
* Working closely with the Service Design Architects across stakeholders and the TDA for issue resolution;
The role is based out of our client Dusseldorf office with significant travel to customer and supplier locations within Germany to support systems integration activities.
