Process EngineerOur global pharmaceutical client is currently preparing for a number of large investment projects. The process engineering team is looking for a long-term co-operation with a strong biopharmaceutical process engineer to support them with the design, layout, installation and commissioning life cycle of the upcoming projects.
The Role:
- Provide manufacturing support as process equipment SME.
- Equipment will include fermenters, homogenizers, filtration units, chromatography columns and centrifuges.
- Contribute in system and equipment design and procurement, engineering documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, URSs, Design Specifications, RFQs.
- Oversight and coordination of construction contractors.
- Knowledge of bio-manufacturing or bio-technology production environments is essential.
- Strong engineering background.
- Knowledge of advanced process equipment and production processes for upstream or downstream production in fermentation, chromatography, filtraction, bioreactors and centrifuges.
- Experience working to tight project schedules and deadlines.
- Both a strong team player and able to work independently.
- Strong GMP and FDA knowledge.
- Fluent German language skills
