Collaboration IT Expert. Manage, Define, Design.
My Client a leading Global organisation based in Berlin is searching for a Collaboration IT Expert. Manage, Define, Design. for a 6 month + project.
English speaking.
Paying from € per day.
From this role you will play an important part in defining, developing, implementing and managing IT Infrastructure Services. Main goals is to support an increasing demand for collaboration and integration within clients with an IT focus on End User Device Management (PCs and Engineering Workstations), Provisioning and Service Integration.
Key responsibilities & Challenges
Solution ownership from plan to run
- Define requirements for end-to-end IT infrastructure services and contribute to design in collaboration with the Architecture team;
- Support IS Operations in running Service Management processes, especially Incident, Change and Problem Management;
- IT project management - contribute to various stages in the project cycle (eg planning, implementation in accordance with the defined requirements, best practices definition);
- Provide (technical) consultancy on agreed & contracted standard services while also managing the external suppliers meant to deliver them
- Technical management of related IT systems and demand management for standard services and customized solutions;
- Follow-up budget targets to assure delivering IT services at best cost/value ratio (including capacity and volume management for consumption and forecasts);
Experience:
- 5+ years of hands on experience with PC/Windows, Windows XP/7/8.X, Active Directory, MS Office, Office365;
- Strong knowledge in/with design & implementation of large-scale email solutions, managing large deployments of Office-365 on Microsoft cloud, email platform migration from Lotus Notes to O365 and managing collaboration services (eg Lync);
- Experience in managing IT projects and IT Operations (ITIL) with several service providers and third parties on an international level, ideally in a global company.
- Ability to demonstrate both - technology and process ownership to continuously improve groupware (Email, chat, unified communication) services;
- Understanding of Local Area Network (LAN), TCP/IP and general networking concepts;
- Track record in IT project delivery, driving complex environments and supporting the process from solution design to going live;
- Fluent English
