Senior SAP FI-CO Consultant
Whitehall Resources are looking for a Senior SAP FI-CO Consultant to be based in Bavaria, Germany for the next 6 months.
The task is as follows:
Purpose:
Develop technical solutions that meet the needs of client finance and are compliant with client platforms/kernels/cores.
Defines requirements, functional specifications, inputs into project charter and project plan.
Reviews solutions to ensure that are consistent with architecture and technical strategy and in line with standardization principles.
Designs solutions that are consistent with industry standards in the areas tax, statutory and regulatory compliance
Designs and Implements technical solutions that achieve harmonized solutions that support the client's drive toward process center global functions.
Design of solutions that leverage lean and efficient development and result in low total cost of ownership
Delivers solutions, which are simple and standardized business processes and IT solutions; are reproducible, sustainable, maximize existing system investments and are scalable
Delivering global, strategic, reliable, functional and cost effective solutions in a timely fashion and in line with user requirements and in compliance with all standards, practices and regulation, that manage appropriate levels of risk.
Key Tasks:
leading/involvement of roll-out projects incl. implementation and customizing of SAP modules and its business processes according to corporate rules (template roll-out) as well as project documentations
realization of local/regional requirements and customizing of the global system
support countries in all terms of Finance/SAP related tasks
quality assurance (eg check structures, usage of functions etc.)
user/key-user and regional user training within our areas of responsibility
Creation of BRF's, FDS and related test scripts
Support RUN organization whenever necessary
FI/CO SAP consultant
Profound Financial acumen
7-10 years recent experience in SAP with focus on FI/CO (SD) in implementing SAP in China (HK, MO, TW experience is an asset)
Knowledge of country and province legal requirements (VAT, golden tax rule, .)
SAP FI/CO roll-out & consolidation delivery experience in fast paced environment
At least 2 global single client projects with data migration of financial data within a very heterogeneous Legacy SAP landscape and data quality
Hand-on Data migration experience (extract, map, convert, upload)
Extensive knowledge of SAP config/customizing functional design specification, testing, able to search information in Legacy systems
Extensive hands on configuration/customizing experience
Strong functional design capabilities focus on legal gaps in particular countries
Experience in working with Finance organization to gather the necessary input in time
Experience in working with off-shore config/customizing and build teams
Expert in the development of technical solutions that meet business needs.
Knowledge of the integration architecture principles in the area of Finance
Fast creation of clear and crisp documentation which will be handed over to the build team
Analytical skills to satisfy project needs
Good knowledge of international transportation industry and its (regulatory) environment
Good understanding of business environments (organization, people and business needs)
Knowledge of software development life cycle as well as supporting project methodologies.
Knowledge of System's Architecture
