We are looking for several UX Solution Designers for a client project.
Start Date: ASAP, flexible
Tasks description:
- Improving ease of access to a massive amount of information while retaining a clear and calm screen;
- Reducing existing navigation efforts caused by too many applications needed to perform business tasks;
- Identifying UI patterns and integrating them into the design system in a clear and retrievable way so that these UI patterns can then be re-applied in similar contexts for all user groups to support intuition, improve learnability and ease-of-use;
- Ensuring that UI patterns remain valid and clear on different device size. The content must adjust smoothly to various screen sizes. Multiple separate layouts of the content and design to different devices depending on screen size must be provided;
- Supporting multiscreen/multi-monitor use, ie, the use of multiple physical display devices having similar or different sizes and types, eg, Tandem of iPad and desktop;
- Minimizing interaction cost (identification of primary or most common use cases, number of clicks, distance of mouse moves, scrolling, memory load) to achieve a user goal;
- Ensuring consistency in design between all the software, in terms of interaction, copy, icon, patterns;
- Building on foundations offered by the design system and contributing to its development and improvement;
- Finding the right balance between improved user interfaces and ease of learning new ways of interacting;
- Ensuring and fostering design solutions;
- Providing accessible solutions and supporting multiple input modalities and output devices across different technologies including, when relevant, extended (XR) reality spectrum.
Mandatory Job requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the following areas:
- User Information architecture (eg, web mapping, navigations, taxonomies)
- Interaction design
- User journey mapping and task analysis
- User interface design
- Multilingual UX copy writing (microcopy)
- Accessibility aspects including visual, audio and other haptic assistive technologies
- Advanced and demonstrable UX/UI design, wireframing and prototyping skills
- Proficient use of design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar
- User research
- Web content strategy
- Creation and implementation of web applications
- Creation and implementation of websites
- Ensuring consistency across multiple software applications
- Developing managing and curating advanced and complex design systems
- Facilitating design thinking workshops
- Usability testing (quantitative and qualitative)
- Accessibility testing
- Web content management (proven experience with Drupal would be a distinct advantage)
- Responsive web design development and mobile first design
- Creating storyboards
- SVG production
- Visual design including iconography and typography.

Education/skills:
- Diploma of completed studies at master's level
- Fluency in written and spoken English (C1 level mandatory); French/German beneficial
- Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies
- Understanding languages, notations (BPMN, DMN) supporting process modelling and business rule and decision specification
- HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript (ReactJS preferred, VueJS or other optional)
- MS Office 365, MS Visio, Ms Teams, MS Project, MS SharePoint, MS Whiteboard, OpenText, JIRA (and JIRA add-ons - Xray, R4J), Confluence, FigJam and ServiceNow platform
- Proven experience of applying Agile approaches including Scrum, Kanban, and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
- Proven experience with web analytics tools (at least 1 year), experience with Matomo would be a distinct advantage.
