Main tasks:
- Translates technical texts, product- and, process-documentation from German into English
- Translates a variety of documents including work instructions, specifications, technical and scientific materials from German into English and the other way round
- Supports communication between the different teams in Scotland, England, US, and Germany
- Specifically supports on-site meetings with necessary translations
- Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand technical Concepts and translates them appropriately
- Administrates (technical) documentation at the German site
- Support transfer of the (technical) documentation to the receiving site in ScotlandTranslates technical texts, product- and, process-documentation from German into English
- Translates a variety of documents including work instructions, specifications, technical and scientific materials from German into English and the other way round
Main qualifications
- Documented experience in technical translation, preferably in oil&gas industry
- Fluency in German and English, written and verbal communication
- Independent approach to work
