All of the activities are managed in an SAP ERP-System (Netweaver 7.5 ABAP Stack, EHP8, ECC 6.0, MSSQL-DB, SAP standard modules HR-BAV, PA, PY, FS-CD, FI, TRM, CFM). Further we have a large part of Custom Code.
For reporting by ETL via MS SQL (SSIS/SSRS), data is already stored on file servers today. SAP BW or SAP BI is not in use.
Since 2021, we have been building up a new tech stack (microservice architecture, backend Spring Boot, Java/Kotlin, frontend Angular TypeScript/JavaScript).
We want to gradually replace SAP functionalities with it. In 2023, we will go deeper into the replacement of SAP components for the insurance portfolio. We don't want to connect SAP, but we need the insurance data for the new system. It will be sufficient to extract the required data. However, it may be necessary to analyse programmes and change data structures if necessary.
Tasks
- Consulting to find the best possible data extraction solution (e.g. use of data extractors from SAP systems)
- Development/configuration of SAP exports for transparent tables, pool and cluster tables
- Architecture analyses and, if necessary, implementation of interfaces for decoupling
- Writing of migration programs
Experience
- in-depth experience with exporting data from SAP
o with DataSources, data extraction, especially pool and cluster tables
o SAP modules BW, BI, ODP
- Experience with ETL processes via MS SQL (SSIS/SSRS)
- Migration projects from SAP to a nonSAP infrastructure
- Experience with SAP modules HCM, HR-BAV, PA, PY
Basic requirements
- Several years of professional experience and safe handling in:
o object-oriented development (ABAP-OO)
o Maintaining a high level of test coverage through unit tests, ideally using a test-driven development approach
- In-depth knowledge of SAP-software and system architecture
- Desirable experience in the SAP modules HCM, HR-BAV, PA, PY
- Development via Eclipse ADT provided
