Für unseren Kunden suchen wir aktuell externe Unterstützung für die Position QA Tester (m/w/d) für Web UI.Rahmendaten:
Start: asap
Dauer: Mitte 2023 +
Auslastung: 5 Tage/Woche
Ort: 100% remote
Der Kunde sucht Verstärkung (gn.) im Bereich Web UI Testing. Er schätzt „die Fähigkeit, QS-Prozesse unter agilen Bedingungen zu etablieren und weiterzuentwickeln.“
Aufgaben:
• This is a position for the teams with most focus on web UI testing.
• The team is using Playwright for UI testing, but it is very similar to Cypress and anyone who has expertise with Cypress or Selenium will be able to transition to it without issues.
Anforderungen:
• Hands-on testing experience and ability to establish and evolve QA processes in agile conditions
• Strong programming background in Java, JavaScript or other language
• Advanced technical competency in web applications, web services, shell scripting and RDBMS
• Experience of UI automation with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar
• Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test cases using a variety of BDD/TDD-centric frameworks
• Ideally: Experience in development and testing of RESTful web services (esp. Java, Spring Boot)
• Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents
• Proven experience in debugging and troubleshooting in Linux/Unix based application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, WebSphere environments
• Self-starter attitude, ability to jump on news topics fast and get up-to-speed on your own
• Experience in spreading a quality-focused mindset
• Passion for test automation, always looking for the next best way to eliminate manual steps in testing
• Great communicator, who can switch seamlessly between business and tech languages
• Leadership in driving large-scale projects with multiple cross-functional and cross-location teams and stakeholders
