For our client in the Global Research Business, we are looking for a Senior Data Developer/Engineer who is open for a new, exciting challenge in the IoT environment as soon as possible.Their application tracks ships worldwide and connects this data with different end customers worldwide for IoT purposes. They are currently looking for a Java Developer in their agile team who also has experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) (or is amenable to it) and is open for a responsible task.
With a modern office located directly at the port of Hamburg, they offer a flexible and modern working environment with a modern tech stack.

You might be a good fit if:
• You have knowledge of Java or similar languages
• You have extensive knowledge of relational databases including configuration and performance tuning.
• You have experience with big data solutions/tools such as Hadoop and / or ElasticSearch
• You are a conceptual thinker and take pride in producing high-quality work
• You are willing to roll up your sleeves, understand the business/product requirement in front of you, and own your solutions
• You are experienced in CI / CD solutions for example AWS Cloud Formation and Jenkins
• You understand cloud-based development and security
• You have some experience of Elastic Container Service or similar technologies
