The services of the contractor (service provider) are provided for the project AI platform development. This has the following content:
As part of the platform strategy, an AI platform was built that provides the basic AI services for customers. The decisive factor for success is that the AI platform can handle the interactions between a large number of actors in a standardized and highly efficient manner. As a result, transaction costs will be significantly reduced compared to classic business relationships and at the same time achieve a much higher quality. The AI platform is to be further developed, which is automated, provides fully integrated basic infrastructures and maps additional software-based functionalities. In most cases, a PaaS/IaaS with a self-service portal approach is to be implemented. An important next step is the expansion of AI Workbench services for data scientists around AWS Sagemaker and related services. The Workbench provides the necessary tools for the development and operation of AI models preconfigured and integrated. It supports teams in the development and operation of data science and AI models throughout the entire lifecycle – from data connection to modeling and operation.
#Leistungsbeschreibung
The service provider provides the following services:
• Consulting on the systematic expansion and harmonization of the AI platform as part of the overall platform strategy
• Implementation of the AI platform strategy
• Implementation of standard services
• Harmonization of individual software components in the sense of the AI platform strategy
• Infrastructural implementation of services for use by data scientists
• Integration of components into the platform landscape
• Setup of basic infrastructure and processes for performing automated software deployments in source code

#Muss requirements*:
• The external specialist must have at least 3 years of experience in software development. Several reference projects are to be presented, which reflect the 3-year experience. Required information per reference project is the exact period of use, the AG or the industry, the role of the specialist and his specific tasks.
• The external specialist must have in-depth knowledge of the Java programming language.
• We use Gitlab CI/Pipelines. The external expert can prove experience in the implementation of continuous integration and continuous delivery using GitLab from at least 2 concrete project references.
• The external specialist is used to working in agile formats (Scrum/Kanban, DevOps) and can prove this through project assignments.
• Experience in the implementation of security measures.

• The external expert can demonstrate knowledge in the use of AWS services and the application of AWS CDK (Typescript) and/or Kubernetes
• The external specialist can provide practical experience in transferring individual portfolio solutions into a service-oriented platform.
• The external expert can provide practical experience in the conception of integration architectures and the design of interfaces.
• Experience in the implementation of user management and client isolation for data science environments.
