Functional Safety Expert (Embedded, AUTOSAR) – Lipstadt – 18 Months – RemoteMy Automotive client, one of the leading industry names based in the Lipstadt region, are looking for a Functional Safety Expert to join an 18-month project on a remote basis.
Tasks:
• Functional Product Safety Management according to ISO 26262 for an OBC project according to standard process
• Definition of functional and technical safety requirements and derivation of system requirements by means of FMEA / FTA
• Creation of safety concepts and safety architectures in close cooperation with all relevant departments (system / hardware / software / mechanics / testing)
• Execution of a Dependent Failure Analysis according to ISO 26262
• Execution of reviews / inspections for requirements
• Carrying out software safety analysis
• Creation of production relevant requirements and alignment with the plants
• Participation in inspections/reviews for various work results
• Review of test specifications
• Coverage of tests on the system / hardware and software levels
• Fulfillment of test specifications regarding ISO 26262
• Review of consistency to requirements
Requirements:
• Completed studies (FH / TU), preferably in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, physics or comparable
• In-depth knowledge in the area of functional safety (at least 5 years)
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR and Embedded SW architectures
• Extensive experience in dealing with the relevant technical standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508 ....)
• Experience in Embedded and automotive environment
• Expertise in safety and monitoring concepts, CAN
• Experience with DOORS
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
• Very good knowledge of German and English
