R-Programmer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Join R Software development team to add features to an internal design analysis engine for automatic IC Verification
- Develop R code and ensure results are under revision control and pass reviews and tests
- Ensure fulfillment of Definition-of-Done criteria in own area of responsibilty for each deliverable, e.g. technical and user documentation, issue status and parameters
- Understand customer/user requirements as described in user stories and derive appropriate actions.
- Work in a scrum environment and deliver user stories every sprint
- Technical Documentation and complying with our Definition of Done (GIT, Unit Tests, don''t break the build)
- Holding trainings for Algorithm Development (Programming with R)
- Present and market features e.g. in user demo meetings, trainings, consultancy
- Processes/Methods/Tools: Scrum, development and test environment, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, R tooling
Main qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Experience performing R development and data analysis: ggplot2, data, table, devtools, testthat. Alternatively, having experience performing data analysis in Python, SAS and other alternatives also of value
- Experience in an agile developing environment: Scrum, GIT, Code Reviews, DevOps, Unit Testing, etc.
- Experience developing reporting tools and report automation with R: Rshiny, Rmarkdown or similar
- Experience connecting various data sources to R: NoSQL (specially JSON), SQL, binary files
- Experience with statistical process control (6sigma, process quality) advantageous
- Affinity with semiconductor industry advantageous
- Profound English knowledge, German skills
