Location: 100% remote

Your job:

• You will work in an agile team on the further development and enhancement of a new digital customer engagement platform
• You bring knowledge of how an entire system landscape can be tested reliably and automatically, from frontend and API calls to back-end systems.
• You need to determine feature testing parameters, writing test plans and create test cases for the product and features.
• You will work with tools like Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, Java, Jira, etc.
• You understand the central importance of testing and troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures. You make suggestions as to what types of tests should be built into an automated CI/CD pipeline and how.
• You need to support the awareness of quality testing in the team and ensure that all tests and procedures meet industry and company standards.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in (business) computer science or comparable qualification
• Previous work experience as a Tester or Test Engineer (m/f/x).
• An ISTQB certification would be a plus.
• You have a strong understanding of software QA methodologies and processes.
• You have extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
• Writing and executing test cases creatively is a matter of course for you.
• You have experience in creating test plans, test cases, as well as documentation in JIRA and
Confluence
• You have proficient knowledge in API testing and know the details to use Postman. Additionally you
have a basic understanding of Google Cloud and GCP Logs Explorer.
• Additional experience in systems like SQL and NoSQL databases would be desirable.
• Ideally you already have experience in agile project environments
• You have a good command of spoken and written English
• You are a communicative team player with a strong focus on results and solutions as well as a
strong willingness to implement and a pronounced analytical mindset.
