Responsibilities:
-zOS backup and recovery processes, data migrations, storage allocations, connections and reporting tasks
Coordinate microcode changes in the storage environment area
-Implement processes and changes on request of the HSBC group
Detailed Job Description:
•The z/OS Systems Programmer should have technical and specialist skills as well as in-depth knowledge of Disk- and Tape Storage solutions on IBM z.
• There can be multiple functions within the job involving multiple products and technologies. Including but not limited to programming, analysis and creating functional/technical design solutions to address specific data storage issues.
• Your responsibility will be to interface with the datacentre, software development and scheduling teams to ensure a fully redundant and continuous storage management operations. In addition, you have to interact with the storage architects and support teams in the HSBC group.
