I am looking for a Software Engineer who has at least 5+ years of experience working in Python + Docker + Kubernetes.Please find the additional project details below:
Working Hours: pref. 40h, but part time could work too
Must have Stacks/Skills: Python, Docker, Kubernetes,
Nice to have tech stack: PostgreSQL, web scrapping experience, web dev experience
Project start: asap / realistically beginning of October
Duration estimate: 3m+ extension
Remote/Onsite: remote
Spoken Language: English
New/Ongoing Project: Ongoing
Hiring Process (steps and timeline): maximum of two interviews with engineering lead, technical
Project Goal and Tasks:
- your main job will be to support the existing team of Data Scientist and Engineers to work on their main platform
- The architecture is predefined, they work with Kanban in weekly sprints & deploying via Kubernetes, main database of use is PostgreSQL
- Part of your work will include data ingestion, collecting data & support the team in building their own internal platform (web scrapping, data extraction)
- Your role will focus on building a scalable high-frequency data ingestion application and supplementary internal tooling
- Work with their data engineers to deliver data pipelining and data warehousing
Other tasks can include:
- Expand their hand-tailored framework for data extraction and processing
- Build microservices upon their framework to fulfill business needs
- Create efficient data models, storage solutions, and/or upgrade existing ones
- Implement robust operational procedures for fail-safety
- Build new cloud infrastructure and expand existing architecture
