- Several years of experience as an expert for data quality and data management
- Architecture / Technology / Tools:
- TOGAF based architectural deliverables
- Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Cloud Data Quality
- Microsoft SQL Database
- SAS Macro, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics
- Kafka
- Methodology:
- Data Quality Data Governance
- Data Analysis Data Profiling
- Defining and designing data quality metrics and dashboards
- Data:
- Handling of course data, register metadata for source and target data
- Understanding of complex transformations including extraction, validation, conditional execution and custom transformation
- Maintenance of the inventory of data validation rules, users, groups, and roles, global/local repository relationships with backup and recovery
- Business Domain:
- Business data objects, structure and types in the insurance domain e.g. policies, claims etc.
- Data quality frameworks and principles in BFSI (Banking, Financial Service Insurance) preferably in regulatory environment
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with varied group of people
- Understanding of implicit requirements from the discussions and interactions with the users and other solution architects
- Languages: English and German
Your Tasks
- Our client is looking for a professional and independent external consulting expert for data quality, in the role of a solution architect within a financial reporting project.
- Current requirements of the project:
- Creation of an architecture for integrated data quality solution including analytics, correction, monitoring and control for a regulatory and compliance system. The system is complex, integrated with other operational systems that use diverse technology both on premise as well as on cloud.
- The architecture will be based on Informatica Data Quality platform and will integrate various systems using SAS technology from the latest SAS Viya offerings including SAS based user interfaces, business rules management and reports and multiple non-SAS applications built using data files, databases and data streams.
- The solution will also integrate over Kafka based data transport solution.
- Focal points of the consultancy:
- The candidate has to establish a complete data lifecycle management solution concept including data definition, cataloguing, lineage and metadata management.
- The candidate has to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and automation of data quality across entire solution based on metrics and indices.
