Ruby on Rails Developer - SQL, Git, Remote, English

Source Technology are looking to hire x2 Freelance Ruby on Rails Developers to support our customer. Initially for 6 months with the chance to extend or even join as an employee. English speaking and 100% remote.

Role

• Design, build and maintain our subscriptions, payment, tracking, and data infrastructure
• Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to the team via peer review, retrospectives, and lively discussions
• Join in open and creative discussions where you can pitch ideas to improve our products
• Write automated tests for your work (and preferably insist on others doing the same)

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Ruby on Rails (2+ years experience)
• Knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Familiarity with continuous integration, virtualization, and cloud computing
• Knowledge of SQL-based database systems, no-SQL is a plus
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
