We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to help with the development and optimization of machine learning-based models and services. You should make sure that the appropriate ML models are designed, developed and deployed. Additionally, you will support the team in charge of the further development and business-critical operations management worldwide on the AWS platform.As a Data Scientist you are expected to identify valuable data sources and automate the collection processes. Moreover, you should pre-process structured and unstructured data, and analyze large amounts of data to identify trends and patterns. Additional responsibilities are to create predictive models and ML algorithms, as well as to combine models through ensemble modelling. Lastly, you should be able to present information using data visualization techniques, and propose solutions and strategies for business challenges.
Project details:
• Starting period: 01.09.2022
• Ending period: 31.12.2022 (Possible extension)
• Full-time: (5 days/week)
• Location: Remote/ Frankfurt (40%)

Experience:
• Data scientist or data analyst
• Machine learning, data mining
• Python, SQL (Scala is an advantage)
• Mathematical skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
• Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyze and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant subject; A university degree in data science or another quantitative subject is an advantage
• Certification in ML
• Good numerical and analytical skills
