General Description (Responsibilities)
• 7-10 years of total experience with minimum of 5+ years of managing Lotus Domino Administration
• Day to day administration of L3 and escalated calls and provide resolution
• Day to day Administration, support, maintenance and monitoring of the Lotus Domino infrastructure
• Support the messaging platform consisting of Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino and SMTP.
• Global experience in managing large environments is necessary.
• Should have worked in fast paced challenging work environment.
• Responsible for producing RCA for high severity issues.
• Excellent communication and verbal skills.
• Must be open for 24*7 operations.
• Monitoring and planning for Lotus Domino Server Capacity Management.
• Provide Value Adds and contribute to Knowledge Base and the documents accessible to Messaging Team globally.
• Providing support to Level 1 & Level 2 team to resolve escalated issues for Email related issues.
• Very Good understanding and troubleshooting skills in SMTP email routing and Lotus Domino CLI level during the migration.
• Good experience on Lotus Notes replication concept, Lotus Domino Cluster, Lotus Domino Domain and Domino Web Access.
• Ability to co-ordinate with migration team on day-to-day basis and delegate the work and share the technical knowledge.
Technical Requirements
• Strong hands-on experience in Lotus Domino administration and design on multiple OS platform.
• Ability to understand the complex Lotus Domino infrastructure with multiple domains.
• Experience in designing, planning and execution critical migration projects.
• Good understanding on email gateway products like IronPort, MessageLabs, Postini and ability work on DNS, Hybrid E-Mail Routing, Email Tracking, SMTP / application Mail Relay, Backup and Restore, Disaster Recovery concepts.
• Expertise in messaging and collaboration on both Office 365 and Lotus Domino along with Co-existence between Lotus Domino and Office 365.
• Ready to take any critical technical issues related to Messaging and collaboration platform and provide swift turn around solution.
• Knowledge in Lotus notes migration tool like Binary Tree, Quest, BitTitan and migration process.
• Good experience on Lotus Notes replication concept, Lotus Domino Cluster, Lotus Domino Domain and Domino Web Access.
• Good experience in hub and spoke Lotus Domino Directory replication and its principles.
• Ability to understand Notes Named Network in complex Lotus Domino infrastructure.
• Support for Developers when they need to understand how to carry out updates to our in-house applications, sign agents, replace database designs, etc... but not code the applications.
• Measure and document performance benchmarks for the migration by performing test migrations example network throughput, disk IOOPS, capacity forecast.
• Working with customer's infra team to get the migration infrastructure built if required.
• Work with Quest Migration tool professional services team to identify pre-requisites and configuration requirements for building the platform.
• Hands on experience in Microsoft Office 365 platform including tenant administration and license management.
• Should have experience in basic Lotus Notes Script and PowerShell script.
• Ability to co-ordinate with migration team on day-to-day basis and delegate the work and share the technical knowledge.
• Experience analyzing new technology and making technology recommendations.
• Review operational metrics, analyze trends on issues reported, take proactive steps to eliminate and reduce repetitive incidents and to provide better end user experience.
• Good exposure on email security and compliance in both on premise and cloud technologies.
• Good experience in Lotus Domino native archiving and third-party archive solution like Enterprise Vault, Email Xtender, etc.
• Familiarize with multiple Lotus Domino and Lotus Notes client versions.
• Good understanding and work experience with various mobility solutions like AirWatch, MobileIron, Blackberry, etc...
Soft Skills
• Experience on Incident and Task management tool like Remedy or Service-Now.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to author and present materials ranging from detailed technical specifications to high-level presentations
• Experience in handling customer and severity cases.
• Ability to produce RCA for major and critical cases.
• Team handling and conflict management skills.
• Work on Change management Process.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with experience in collaboration technologies and architecture.
• Participates in management of customer satisfaction, best practices and benchmarking, Outputs and deliverables.
• Participates in setting strategic directions, provides leadership to extend the organization's ability to optimize use of technologies and resources
• Developing automated procedures and technical documentation to utilize in the implementation and maintenance processes
Other Skills / Experience
• Working with software and hardware vendors, internal organizations, and business units to provide integrated Email technology and business solutions.
• Administration of migration server of Quest tool .
• Interacting with Information Security, Network Engineering, Internet Engineering, Help Desk, Business Partners and functional groups
• Architects, prioritizes, co-ordinates and communicates with other teams about the ongoing messaging projects. Assists in the evaluation of overall risk for project / activities.
• Maintains oversight of the design and implementation to ensure appropriate and effective end-user needs are included.

Years of Experience
• 7-10 Years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Lotus Domino server & 4+ years’ experience with Exchange Online
Certification requirements
• MCSA/MCSE/MCTIP is necessary
• ITIL Preferred
