JOB DESCRIPTION –
We are looking for a passionate, hard-working Performance Test Engineer who's willing to take charge of our Quality Assurance team for performance testing of RAN domain & who can closely work with our Network’s/Infrastructure’s/Technology Architect’s/Development’s team to monitor, review & analyze the performance of RAN components within the network and can help in identifying the performance bottlenecks in the system.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Individual contributor, you will contribute to create the performance test scripts/scenarios, conduct the performance test execution and performance monitoring exercise to provide the certification of the RAN components & Non-functional end to end scenarios.
· Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience in performance testing (preferably from Telecom domain)
· Must have sound knowledge of performance test life cycle, performance testing techniques/methodologies, performance monitoring and bottleneck identification
· Strong knowledge of various performance test types and their objectives (load, stress, endurance, and volume test)
· Expertise in deriving Performance Business Processes & Test Cases, developing and maintaining performance Test Scripts & Scenarios according to business specification given
· Strong understanding and hands-on experience of tools like VIAVI TM500, Keysight PROPSIM/DU simulator and Sanjole tools.
· Strong Experience with Lab Analysis tools such as QXDM, X-CAL, X-CAP, Wireshark and iPerf.
· Experience in handling test equipment’s: Spectrum Analyzer, Automation systems, Simulators, etc.,
· Understanding of networking concepts DNS, DHCP, IP connectivity, VLAN, subnetting and IPsec etc.
· Strong knowledge in 3GPP Release-15+ RAN specifications, service requirements and architecture of 4G, 5G-NR network SA and NSA modes
· Strong knowledge in oRAN/vRAN architecture split options
· Experience in develop LAB environment for RAN vCU, vDU integration and evaluations
· Expertise in new LAB Build infrastructure, design, and planning.
· Good Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, Jenkins & Ansible playbook.
· Basic understanding of conducting performance test execution on cloud-based environments
· Experience in working on Agile methodologies, SCRUM framework, KANBAN dashboard etc.
· Should have strong communication, collaboration & team building skills with proficiency at grasping new technical concepts quickly & utilize the same in a productive manner
· Should Possess Problem-Solving Skills, Ability to Follow Industry standards and procedures, Quickly Master new concepts and Applications
· Be able to work independently, collaborate with teammates and cross-functional groups, communicate on the level of others, listen and understand people in circumstances common in the workplace.
· Strongly motivated individual willing to learn new technologies and concepts.
· Must be flexible to travel if needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information System or any equivalent degree.
· 4 to 10 years of professional experience in Performance testing of RAN domain.
· Ability to communicate written and verbally English.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

· Strong Experience in develop LAB environment and integrations of O-RAN 4G, 5G vCU, vDU and evaluations.
· Must have hands-on experience of Linux and Kubernetes environments.
· Strong knowledge in 3GPP Release-15+ RAN specifications
· Strong hands on experience TM500 (VIAVI), Prisma o
(Keysight), channel Emulator, VSA/VSG, DU Simulations & Core Simulations
· Good Knowledge and handling experience of O-RAN vCU, vDU
· Knowledge and Certification of Linux and Kubernetes is added advantage.
· Having testing and lab environment experience in RAN domain and related to RAN Tools for 6 to 10 Years.
· Telecommunication technical knowledge
· 5G LAB Build and Testing Experience
