Our client is a Europe-wide established player in the market for electric mobility with headquarters in Germany. Currently, the portfolio includes charging solutions for electric vehicles for all common use cases, "Public", "Depot" and "Residential Charging", an innovative mobile app as well as a reimbursement solution for charging company vehicles at home. The strategic business area eMobility is being continuously developed with new business models, innovative solutions and expansion into further regions. We are looking for an external consultant (m/f/d) in the role of Solution Architect EV Charging.The Solution Architect will be a highly technical individual that has experience in using these skills and knowledge to solution at the portfolio level. You will be a strategic thinker capable of integrating with enterprise level strategy and creating, implementing and maintaining Solutions that can be used to deliver complex products across the portfolio.
Your Tasks:
• Work closely with product owners, product managers, and senior leaders within technology and commercial teams, to agree project objectives and ensure effective and efficient implementation of features and applications
• Analyze, develop and deliver robust solutions into new and existing platforms. This will include Digital Transformation and integration of Legacy platforms and systems
• Design, drive and deliver within the Agile framework and WOW. Helping a business facing development team to build, develop and operate applications, tools, and services that are user centric and deliver maximum value streamed quality
• Design using cloud first best practices with a capability to add best practices when required. The expectation is that it that the majority of projects will leverage AWS so experience is essential. Experience in Azure is also desirable
• Provide technical leadership for the Scrum team, resolve conflicts and promote creative, high-quality development within a collaborative team environment that includes .NET developers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, etc.
• Be able to explain and drive the evaluation and adoption, management, and optimization of new technologies
• Actively work with strategic partners and Vendors
Your Experiences:
• Degree in engineering, IT or a comparable qualification
• Experience of being a Solution Architect or Technical Architect, with a good grasp on the necessary strategic thinking, designing medium to large High Level and Low-level designs
• Extensive experience in design and delivery of enterprise applications using one or more of the following technologies, React, React Native, Net core, BFF, Micro Frontends, Event Driven Design
• It is essential to have a deep understanding of and experience of SOA, Microservice, and Domain Driven Design architectural design methodologies
• The expectation is that it that most projects will leverage AWS so good demonstrable experience is essential. Experience in Azure is also desirable
• Experience of Agile SDLCs, particularly Scrum and Kanban
• Experience leading a technology area in a high pressure, dynamic industry or business area
• Deep understanding of messaging systems and protocols suchas Event driven, REST, SOAP, HTTP, TCP.
• Team spirit, communication skills and strong analytical skills
• Fluent in English
• Working in an agile project setup is a matter of course for you
• You have a high level of commitment and willingness to integrate, you are a team player, you have organizational talent, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills for dealing with customers
• Confident in the use of MS Office, Confluence, Jira
