In our Digital Commerce team, we help companies to define and implement expandable and scalable B2B and B2C digital commerce solutions in order to meet changing customer expectations. Our focus is always on a holistic approach, from strategy and conception to the implementation of state-of-the-art standard solutions - or completely individual digital commerce platforms. Please note most of our clients are based in Germany.Locations:Remote / Europe
Your impact:
- Support of Spryker Digital Commerce projects in all phases: from conception to implementation, acceptance to support
- Acquisition and understanding of customer requirements in the context of digital commerce with a focus on implementation of back-end requirements and integration of external systems
- Close cooperation with departments and internal/external IT service providers
- Evaluation and recommendation of appropriate modules/packages that take into account the customer's requirements and fit the customer's solution strategy
- Modular and reusable implementation of the requirements
- Management of project teams (from a technical point of view) in the context of architecture assessments, discovery/design phases and conversion/implementation projects
- Close cooperation with and coordination of Nearshoring development teams
- Mentoring of junior developers
Your skillset:
- Passion for programming with PHP and Spryker for at leaset 2 years
- In-depth understanding of the basics of object-oriented software development and design patterns, e.g., B. SOLID principles, Clean Code, Separation of Concerns
- Knowledge and practical experience with modern PHP frameworks, in particular Zend, Symfony, Laravel or Laminas
- E-commerce experience with shop systems such as Oxid, Magento, Hybris, or similar
- In addition to our basic requirements, you should be familiar with the Spryker technology stack:
- Backend: PHP 7, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, Twig, Silex, Composer, Git
- Frontend: Javascript, Webpack, NPM
- System: Docker, Vagrant
- The following terms should not be completely foreign to you:
- Dependency Manager Composer
- PHP-FIG, experiences especially in PSR-1, PSR-4 and PSR-12
- (No)SQL: PostgreSQL/MySQL/MariaDB and Redis
- Git, Git commands, branching models
- Twig template engine
- Elasticsearch
- Proficiency in German (or willingness to learn) and English, (spoken and written)
- Creativity and a high level of quality awareness, sociability, and the ability to work in teams
- Organizational strength, commitment, and high willingness to travel and mobility
