Title: IOS Engineer
Location: Remote
Earliest Start date: Mid-September
Length/End Date: December (potential elongation)

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with product, design and backend engineers to design and implement new user-facing product features
• Design, build and maintain readable, testable and reliable code for iOS and watchOS with Swift and Swift UI
• Maintain and continuously improve process and tooling for code quality, automated testing, CI/CD and release management to the app store
• Monitor and support production applications when issues and bugs arise
• Support and mentor other Mobile engineers on the team

Skills and qualifications:
• Extensive production experience using Swift along Swift UI to build and maintain complex mobile apps for iOS
• In-depth knowledge and experience of Swift-Experience with iOS testing tools (XCTest)
• Experience with data visualization using chart libraries or bespoke development
• Experience building localized apps and ideally using Phrase localization platform or similar
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines to use Fastlane and Testflight to support testing and public releases through the App Store
• Experience building solutions against AWS (or any other cloud provider)
• Experience ensuring a high standard of quality through unit, integration and E2E testing
• Solid understanding of security best practices for mobile applications
• Knowledge of agile practices such as continuous delivery, TDD, pair programming, code reviews and retrospectives
• Desirable experience with profiling and optimising applications (memory usage, SQL queries, etc.)
• Great English communication skills – both written& verbal(German not required)
