Key Responsibilities
• Function as data competence center for all internal stakeholders, maintaining data strategy and architecture
• Collaboration with the AGB insurance technical team to maintain and refine the data taxonomy and ensure data governance, aligned across all stakeholders of end-to-end process
• Introducing a control system with clear KPIs for data management with a worldwide perspective
• Collaboration with Network Insurers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to data governance and secure & improve data delivery and quality standards. Including holding necessary training sessions for our international insurance partners
• Performing and further improving the data collection from our global insurance network, including data monitoring and follow ups to ensure the highest data quality.
• Analyzing internal data and combining with external/public data to derive insights on Life and Health trends e.g medical claims, deriving actionable insights for our clients
• Collaborate to improve quality standards and optimize and automate existing tools
• Creating a technical capability library to include international insurance requirements referring to reporting solutions
• Supporting key-change projects for all topics relevant to data quality and consistency along with technical experts and stakeholders, e.g. building and enhancing database(s) and reporting functionality
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Qualifications:
• University degree in economics, informatics, mathematics, actuarial and/or professional qualification
• Experience in insurance required - specifically Health and Life or employee benefits is preferred
• Mastery of SQL and database structures
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office especially extensive excel skills, Salesforce.com
• Fluent in English; other languages an advantage
• Qualifications such as CAP or CDMP preferred
Experiences:
• Ideally 3-5 years relevant job experience as a data analyst.
• Highly organized and motivated self-starter who can deliver results with minimal direction.
• Proven analytical and number skills with a proven track record of delivering results and the ability to deliver results clearly to a wide array of recipients.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a creative and proactive attitude towards problem solving.
• Ability to quickly grasp what the team needs and offer suggestions above and beyond what they are asking for.
• Naturally curious individual with the ability to quickly become an expert in the various data and systems used by the team.
• Understanding of employee benefits solutions ideally at an international level.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently, while also being team minded.
• Ability to multitask, with focus on speed and execution especially within a global environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
