Platform Engineer - Leeds
6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 £700 p/d

Fruition IT are recruiting a Platform Engineer for a 6 month contract, inside IR35 paying £700 p/d. The successful candidate must be SC cleared or eligible and willing to wait for clearance due to the sensitive nature of the projects that they will be involved with.

What will I be doing?
As a key member of the Software Engineering team, you'll be:
- Working with a number of customers to build systems that support their core mission capabilities
- You'll have regular contact with end users to design, develop, deploy and maintain applications and services.
- Identify new ways of solving problems and get to work with a range of different teams across the organisation
- Be given as much ownership and responsibility to work with cutting edge tech within a project as your experience allows
What experience do I need?
- Experience working in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure role
- Appreciation of Infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Scripting abilities with Shell, Bash or Python
- Good knowledge of Linux, networking, routing and Firewalls
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Puppet, Chef or Ansible
- Terraform or Cloud Formation (desirable)
- Experience with AWS or Azure
- Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift (desirable)
