Role Details:
Application Developer (Back-End) role in a project which’s goal is to replace an existing system landscape used for the asset management of our customers conventional power plant fleet. Key task is the co-development of the complete backend of the new platform in a small team of developers. The project follows a greenfield approach and aims to provide a lean, robust and flexible state of the art solution to the business customer to fulfill the day to day processes within the asset management domain. You will become part of the project team where you need to collaborate close with your colleagues to provide the best possible software solutions to our business partners.
Competencies Required (technical skills, knowledge)
Technical Skills
• Expert in.NET core 6.0
• Experience in Entity Framework
• Python and / or R
• API development (e.g. with Swagger IDL)
• AWS infrastructures and services (e.g. Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, StepFunctions, EventBridge, CloudWatch, Containerization)
• OAuth, SAML and / or AzureAD
• IaC (e.g. Cloudformation, CDK and / or Terraform)
• RDS (e.g. Postgres, Oracle...), MongoDB
• Conducting unit testing (xUnit) & integration testing
Additional Skills / Experience Required
• Determine the pros and cons of different alternatives through planning and discussion with the rest of the Embedded IT team
• Good level of written and spoken English and German
• Experience in the Energy Industry is a plus
• Experience with Time Series processing is a plus
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD is a plus
