Specialist to support in developing a small robot prototype (m/f/d)

Duration: 6 MM++
Main tasks:
- Collaborate with the team on robot architecture and component design
- Develop and implement the ROS2 architecture of the robot for all required components, robot kinematics and coordinate transformations
- Integrate the motion planning with the MoveIt library in ROS2
- Validate individual subsystems against their requirements, e.g. perception or path planning
- Integrate all components and validate the robot’s functionality
- Creating complete documentation of all your work
Main qualifications
- Background in robotics, mechatronics, computer science or similar field
- Experience of programming robots, specifically path and behavior planning and computer vision (for consumer robots, not industrial)
- Proficient in programming C++ and Python and familiar working with ROS2 and Linux
- Fluent in English, German is beneficial
