JOB DESCRIPTION –
• Cisco Data Center products (Nexus 9000, Nexus 3000, Nexus ) – Mandatory
• Cisco ASR 9K (IOS XR)
• Routing/Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MST, PVST, Multicast (mandatory)
• Additional: VXLAN, ACI Fabric
• Certifications: CCIE Preferred
Functional Requirements:
• Experience in ACI Fabric OS, NX-OS and IOS-XR.
• Able to design Data Centre Networks
• Able to handle escalations and customer communication
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Nexus devices
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Networking: SDN controllers ACI, Data center Network equipment for Leaf and Spine Routers, TOR and BOR Switches from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper…).
• Very good hands-on TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Network security, NAT/PAT, Firewall, Network Hardware/Software (IOS-XR, Nexus, IOS, FX OS).
• Configuring & Troubleshooting Site-to-Site IPSEC VPN, Remote Access VPN, GRE,
• Switching: VLANS, STP, Rapid-PVST, Inter-VLAN routing, HSRP, VTP, Trunking, EtherChannel, Virtual Port Channel (VPC), Cisco Nexus Switching (5K).
• Development and operations of infrastructure components for Network Function Virtualization in DT’s Data Centers.
• Provide and manage the lifecycle of physical infrastructure and virtualized resources, hosted within the datacenters.
• Hands on Red Hat Linux/CentOS, Ubuntu and Docker container.
• Virtualized Infrastructure Manager (Cisco VIM Openstack) Deployment and Operation.
• Accountable for the set-up, management and support of the datacenter tools and virtualization functionality.
• Design and Lab Operations support (2nd line) for IT and Network infrastructure, storage and SDN controller.
• Validation of new equipment (Hardware and Software) to meet the predefined customer standards.
• IT hardware: x86 server architectures. Hypervisors (KVM), acceleration technologies (SR-IOV)
• Storage: Solutions for Ceph storage including high-availability concepts.
• CloudOS: Opensource and commercial solutions- OpenStack
