Hiring Process (steps and timeline): One interview with Hiring Manager and a developer for about 1-2 hrs (the interview can be slip into two sometimes as well); 1st part is about values / team fit and 2nd part is a technical interview including a coding exercise
Project Goal and Tasks:
We are looking for a Senior python developer with +7 years of experience that will join the team that maintains and develops payment system.
Right now we are experiencing a heavy workload and therefore we need help with e.g.:
- create new API’s and new development
- be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.
- design, develop and deploy backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability work closely with operations and compliance teams to make sure that you collaboratively provide for the company’s short- and long-term goals, differentiating between building what is asked for and what is truly needed in the payments domain

Who you are:
- You are an awesome engineer working with scalable distributed systems in the payment technology area that is more than comfortable writing Python.
- You look at programming languages as tools and not constraints. You’re not afraid to go out of your comfort zone.
- You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery and automated testing and have experience in working on cloud platforms like GCP.
- You are passionate about what you do and have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.
- You have experience in working within the e-commerce, subscription or payments domain.
