Your Role as a L3 Solution Architect for IT Infrastructure Specialist
In your role as Solution Architect, you will be the one who operates as an interface between IT Partners and Data Center during PLAN & BUILD phase for one of the major automotive Client and keeping its production process up and running. The aim is to plan and coordinate the realization of a stable application infrastructure in the Data Center or (Hybrid) Cloud environment.
With a team of 10-12 other employees, you are not only a thought leader in your field, but also the most important consultant and first point of contact for our customers. As a very important "point of contact" you provide the necessary support and information. In addition, you will lead your team in project processes as well as the development and delivery of deliverables.
In your role, it is essential to always consider both sides - the customer's perspective and that of the technical team. With excellent analytical skills and a knack for tackling problems head on, you will find the right solution for all stakeholders and effectively put it into action.
Responsibilities
? Consulting applications in terms of infrastructure questions and concepts, basically focused on the Data Center portfolio and existing technology stacks
? Advising on security guidelines, interfacing requirements etc.
? Operative project planning and control, implementation and supervision of technical IT projects and/or bigger changes of the infrastructure
? Keeping stakeholders informed about the progress
? Creation of Change/Task tickets for operational teams
? Supporting creation of RunBook for GoLive or migration activities
? Handover projects to System Responsible (for the RUN phase)
Skillset required
? Experienced on Technical Project Management
? Knowledge of Data Center architecture
? Understanding of Data Center operational processes
? Practical Knowledge on below mentioned 2-3 technologies:
? Good understanding on ESXi/VM, OS (Linux, Windows), Databases (Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MSSQL), App Server / Web Server (WebSphere, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat), Exadata/Exalogic, Middleware (IBM MQ, Axway CFT), Backup (TSM, Veeam), Storage, Network
? Experienced in Data Center or Cloud Migration Projects
? Ticketing tools: Remedy / ServiceNow
? DevOps
? CaaS
? Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Qualifications required
? Project Management experience
? ITIL
? Efficient communication skills (German & English)
? Good team player
? Knowledge of Data Center architecture
? Understanding of Data Center operational processes
? Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies, scale quickly and adapt situationally to different requirements
? Excellent analytical skills and problem solver mentality
? Creative thinking in designing and implementing service improvements
? Experienced in writing RFPs solutions and presentations during client visits.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: 650.00€ per day
