Mainframe Support Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements for platform stability
- Monitoring incident/tickets for timely resolutions
- Maintain service levels (SLA/KPIS) for incident/tickets raised by clients
- Build necessary knowledge base for an effective and timely ticket resolutions
- Erform Incident Triaging and Problem Management on tickets raised by clients
- Liaise with other support teams and third party support for issue resolution
- Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management
- Collabarate with offshore teams for smooth handovers between the timezones

Main qualifications
- Technical / programming languages
- Enterprise Cobol for ZOS (v.4.2.0, vendor - IBM)
- DB2
- COBOL
- JCL
- Experience with onsite/offshore team construct
- Additional experience of delivery process would be helpful
- Excellent communication Skills
- Both German and English language capability is a must
