Description
Our client is looking for an engineer with full-stack JavaScript expertise to join the clients App organisation and In-App Shopping Market Expansion team.
The Team is working on expanding the clients shopping offering in the new markets. In the 2021 this team launched shopping in 10 new markets and attracted hundreds of thousands of new customers. Launching shopping in a new market is set as one of the most important goals for the entire organization of our client.
Tasks and responsibilities
You will need to work both on Frontend and Backend to launch shopping in the new markets. It includes implementing market specific needs (eg, different KYC flow), configuring shopping services for a new market, integrating with other team services and a lot of testing.
Required Skillset
- Good knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience with frameworks such as React and React Native.
- Advantageous to be comfortable with Typescript and JavaScript for Back End eg, NodeJS.
- Another advantage is to have experience with native code (iOS, Android).
- Passion for writing clean and testable code.
- Experience with AWS and common components such as EC2, RDS and Kafka are useful
- Experience with Agile practices such as Pairing, TDD, BDD, CI/CD
