Automotive - Suppliers Manager - Freelance - Remote from Germany - 12 months

My client, a digital strategy and software engineering company, is currently seeking a Suppliers manager for a period of 12 months on a freelance basis. My client is currently supporting several German OEMs,

Responsibilities

- Get, collect and represent SW component release / testing / integration status ("Release notes") from supplier's teams and report to Customer
- Align processes and expectations regarding Release notes information completeness and quality between Customer and the suppliers
- Perform review of provided information, identify gaps (traceability, coverage, quality, completeness, actuality etc.)
- Communicate, track and follow up fix with suppliers team of identified gaps
- Identify, follow up and support with resolution of possible blockers, risks, problems
- Build consistent and comprehensive process of collecting necessary information and evaluation of quality for all involved suppliers
- Identify areas of possible improvements and introduce it into the process
- Report software quality status and trend for each supplier/all suppliers.Skills

Must have

- 2+ year experience in Automotive or Embedded development
- 3+ year experience in Project Management
- Perfect understanding of project life cycle, processes and main stakeholders responsibilities
- Experience in project processes establishment or improvements introduction
- Experience in Agile methodologies (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, etc...)
- Practical usage of collaboration / issue tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, KPM
- Experience in Risk & Problem management

Nice to have

- Experience in testing management as a big plus
- ISTQB foundation level or higher certification
- Quality Assurance experience as plus
- ASPICE 3.1 knowledgeLanguages

German: C1 Advanced

English: B2 Upper-Intermediate
