Main tasks:
- Understanding of DWH (Datawarehousing) principles: Data model, ETL / Loading jobs, ETL testing, Releasing
- Understanding of DWH (Datawarehousing) generators
- Working with metadata as a base for generating of loading jobs
- Adaptation of metadata to support additional functionalities
- Generating of loading jobs incl. database structures based on metadata definitions
- Understanding of DWH (Datawarehousing) Automation principles
- Preparing workflows / functionalities for automation
- Reading / understanding /validation of change log
- Preparing of components which communicates together with a semi/full-automated workflow system
- Generation of DWH (loading jobs) + DDLs (tables / views)
- Testing of generated loading jobs / DB structures
- Preparation of release package
Main qualifications
- DB knowledge – Oracle preferred
- ODI knowledge (Oracle Data integrator)
- Hadoop skills - Hive preferred
- Bash scripting know-how
