Location: GermanyRequirement:
• Must have experience of z/OS mainframe systems programming in a large Mainframe Shop. This is essential to the role
• Must have a very good knowledge of the storage administration with DFSMS/HMS and experience with IBM DS8xxx and IBM TS77xx equipment.
• Must have knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL
• Must have good problem determination skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
Responsibilities:
• Execute z/OS backup and recovery processes, data migrations, storage allocations, connections and reporting tasks
• Problem analyzation for disk- and tape problems
• Coordinate microcode changes in the storage environment area
• Configure disk- und tape components
• Process problem- and incidents tickets for storage management und perform a pro-active monitoring of the production environment.
• Implement processes and changes on request of the HSBC group
Contract length: 6 months
