Roles and Responsibilities
Job Description
As a Technology Architect, provide technical expertise, to include addressing and resolving complex technical issues. Define, upgrade, and integrate software architecture that supports Java-based applications. Provide the overall technology guidance and structure for creating and maintaining the Java-based application using Angular 5 or above, html, bootstrap, css. Make sure that the application architecture delivers the system solutions to the architect's business team. Architecture solution should be sustainable and scalable. The Architect is required to have both business and technical skills in the right balance. You will work closely with customer architect and define roadmaps for successful implementation and deployment of solutions. Timely creation of appropriate technical artifacts e.g., Application Architecture Dossier, Solution Design Documents, etc.
Required
Functional and Technical knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture.
• Experience with software design and web programming.
• Strong command on Java/J2EE concepts and current industry trends.
• Knowledge of Web Technologies such as Google Apps Script, Angular 5 or above, Html 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, WebServices (SOAP/REST), mySQL, NoSQL, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Springboot
• Ability to solve complex software system issues.
• Meet with technology managers, customer architects and the design team to discuss the goals and needs of the company.
• Examine and define current architecture systems.
• Design scalable architecture systems for Java-based applications.
• Identify the hardware and software infrastructure needs to accommodate the company’s architectural goals.
• Troubleshoot design flaws and system bottlenecks.
• Perform validation tests to ensure the flexibility and scalability of the Java environment.
• Assist the software design team with application integration.
• Conduct system performance tests and systems reports.
Other skills
• SAFe certification is a big plus
• Experience working with multi-vendor, multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environment
• A good understanding of software development lifecycle
Preferred
• Aerospace domain
• CABIN domain
