Requirement:
• Part time (One day per week);
• A batch of documents will be shared with the consultant on a weekly basis for the consultant to do the review & proof read activities.
Responsibilities:
• Native German consultant with strong language competencies in German and English to demonstrate capabilities to proof reading and copy-editing training content documents in German.
• (Translated documents in German will be shared with the consultant for the review and proof read task).
• The consultant should also have a technical background and experience working with Microsoft 365 applications (eg Teams, Outlook, SharePoint; Office); and other commonly used workplace applications such as Citrix; Remote Desktop; Windows etc.
• The consultant is required to:
o Proof-read review the translated German content to review grammar and punctuations; content correctness; relevance of verbiage used in day-to-day business conversations in German;
o Copy-edit the documents to suggest the recommended content changes, where required
o identify word-to-wexord translated content which is not relevant in German and suggest alternative verbiage that would be suitable in German
o Discuss with the client stakeholder and translating partner resources in German to communicate requirements and feedback effectively
• Validate that the feedback is implemented and approve the final version of the document for publishing.
