Mandatory Skillsets:

Must have experience of mainframe systems programming. This is essential to the role
Must have a very good knowledge of RACF and RACF administration
Must have knowledge of all the following z/OS, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL.
Must have good problem determination skills.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
Build effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own and others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Sysprog RACF remediation analyst, you'll need to:

· Liaise both with the Security department (IAM) and the relevant software product SME for the remediation of security deviations from standards

· develop, test and implement remediation plans

· ensure that security changes have no impact to production services

· report on progress directly and/or in regular progress meetings

· communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure planned remediation are well planned and understood and have no impact to production services

· provide the security department with all the required information to generate/issue the necessary RACF commands needed to implement a particular change
