I am working with a highly reputable automotive client, they are looking for a Software Engineer/Cloud Platform Engineer to work onsite at our Software Innovation Centre In Wolfsburg, Germany.
The Software Innovation Centre was founded in 2015 and now work with a diverse and tech balanced team (developer, designer, product manager in the team; internal customer = product owner) working on extreme programming based on the pivot model.
On the average teams hold 4-8 Developers, 1 Designer, 1 Product Manager, and 1 Product Owner. You will be continuously working on publication of new software products for the client such as After-sales Products, In-house products (eg 360 °employee app, measurement data management), and End Customer Products
*They do not work on the vehicles directly but more the internal systems.*
What are they looking for in a Software Engineer/Cloud Platform Engineer?
Our client is looking for an English-speaking developer with A2/B2 in German and a minimum of 4 years experience to work on-site with a high willingness and drive to learn new technologies.
Technical requirements:
- Knowledge of Cloud-Native Development (AWS)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
- Relevant experience in Java, Go, Python or a comparable programming language
- Practical experience in one or more of the technologies: REST, JSON, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spring, Docker, AWS, microservices development
- CI/CD, GIT
Specific requirements:
- Basic Network Know-How
- Knowledge of agile software development
- Implementation of data streaming applications on AWS services including application of algorithms for data processing and visualization
- Establishment of an Industrial Cloud for the operability of the lab products
Design of data flow from different network zones to the cloud
