Unser Kunde hat ein erfolgreiches agiles Team aus Operations Engineers, Softwareentwicklern und QA Engineers. Sie planen, implementieren und integrieren die zentrale Login-Infrastruktur inklusive ihrer Datenbanken für ihre Mail- und Cloud-Services.
// DEINE AUFGABE //
- Als DevOps Engineer bist Du für den reibungslosen und zuverlässigen Betrieb der in den eigenen Rechenzentren täglich millionenfach genutzten Produkte unseres Kunden verantwortlich und entwickelst die Plattformen unseres Kunden in Bezug auf Stabilität und Performance weiter
- Du bist die Schnittstelle zwischen der Softwareentwicklung und den Plattformteams
- Du automatisierst die Continuous Integration und Continuous Delivery Plattformen unseres Kunden weiter und berätst die Produktbereiche bei Technologieentscheidungen
- Du entwickelst Infrastructure as Code, stellst die Verfügbarkeit der Dienste unseres Kunden und den Schutz der Kundendaten durch geeignete Tests, Monitoringverfahren und Analysetools sicher
- Du arbeitest an eigenen Projekten im Rahmen von „Slack Days“ oder probierst neue Technologien an Prototypen aus
// DAS BIST DU //
- Du hast ein technisches Studium abgeschlossen oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
- Du bist vertraut mit CI/CD und Automatisierung
- TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, REST, TLS und GIT sind für Dich keine Fremdwörter
- Du hast Erfahrung mit Elastic Search
- Der Umgang mit vielen Linux-Systemen (z.B. mit Puppet oder Ansible) oder Containern (z.B. Kubernetes) fällt Dir nicht schwer
- Tools wie Kibana, Prometheus oder Grafana helfen Dir, den Überblick zu behalten
- Du hast Erfahrung in mindestens einer Programmiersprache (z.B. Python, Ruby, Go, Java)
- Weiters kennst du dich mit Icinga2, F5 und GoCD aus
- Du arbeitest gerne in einem Umfeld, das Dir viel Freiheit und ein hohes Maß an Vertrauen bietet, und übernimmst die daraus resultierende Verantwortung
- Fehler zu machen gehört zum Leben und Du weißt, wie man aus ihnen lernt, denn sie helfen Dir, das Umfeld noch besser und sicherer zu machen
- Du lernst gerne Neues, schätzt den neuesten Stand der Technik und kannst dich schnell in neue Themen einarbeiten
- Du bist ein echter Teamplayer und deine Arbeitseinstellung ist „hands-on“
- Du hast perfekte Englisch-Kenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

You have a passion for DevOps Engineering? Do you want to make a real difference in a digital company with an agile environment and flat hierarchies? Then we are looking for you! This project is really exciting: cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes or Cassandra, the opportunity to use your skills and ideas to move topics forward, to help shape them and to develop yourself individually. Our client has a successful agile team of operations engineers, software developers and QA engineers. They plan, implement and integrate the central login infrastructure including its databases for their mail and cloud services.
// YOUR TASK //
- As a DevOps Engineer you are responsible for the smooth, reliable operation of our client’s products, which are used millions of times daily in their in-house data centres, and further develop our client’s platforms in terms of stability and performance
- You are the interface between software development and the platform teams
- You automate further using our client’s Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery platforms and advise the product divisions on technology decisions
- You will develop Infrastructure as Code, ensure the availability of our client’s services and the protection of our client’s customer data through appropriate tests, monitoring procedures and analysis tools
- You will work on your own projects within the framework of „Slack Days“ or try out new technologies on prototypes
// THAT’S YOU //
- You have completed a technical degree or have comparable training
- You are familiar with CI/CD and automation
- TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, REST, TLS and GIT are no foreign words for you
- You have experience with Elastic Search
- Handling many Linux systems (e.g. with Puppet or Ansible) or containers (e.g. Kubernetes) is not difficult for you
- Tools like Kibana, Prometheus or Grafana help you to keep the overview
- You have experience in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Go, Java)
- You know tools like Icinga2, F5 or GoCD
- You like to work in an environment that offers you a lot of freedom and a high degree of trust, and you accept the resulting responsibility
