Hamlyn Williams is actively looking for a Linux Support consultant to start a project as soon as possible.Start date: ASAP
Contract: Length: initial 6 months / potential extension
Location: Berlin, Germany
Work Load: Full time
Task(s)
• Event monitoring of the application landscape and derivation of measures
• Monitoring the operation and functionality of the applications, taking into account the associated hardware and middleware components
• Verification of error-free batch processing and online operation
• Analysis and resolution of events - if feasible - prior to the occurrence of incidents
• Process-compliant documentation of the work results
Technical Skill
• (Programming languages,
• tools, modules, software packages,
• operating systems, ...) o Linux Suse/ Unix Server (Enterprise Mode)
• Shell Scripting
• Scheduling (Control-M, UC-4 ...)
• Dealing with ticket systems (HP Service Manager, Jira ...)
• Hadoop know-how (nice to have, but does not have to be)
• Windows
