SAP developer (oData) (backend)
In addition to the SAP administration system ((Netweaver 7.4, EHP7), there are some functionalities that should still interact with it (B2C portal, B2B portal). The functionalities are usually non-SAP infrastructure. The target is communication via oData Services as REST / HTTP via SAP Gateway as an interface.
Main tasks:
• Design / implementation of the interfaces in SAP, oData Services / CDS views
• Expertise in communication patterns (REST-API, connection to Message Queue) and data exchange
• agile working methods
Requirements for SAP:
• Several years of development experience in SAP, desirable with the SAP modules HR-BAV, PA, PY
• Expert in developing OData services
• advanced knowledge/handling of:
• object-oriented development (ABAP objects)
• Maintaining a high level of test coverage through unit tests, test-driven development approach
• Create test cases in the SAP Gateway Client
• Quality assurance tools such as Code Inspector / ABAP Test Cockpit
• data formats xml, json
Requirements in connection with JAVA, understanding (no in-depth knowledge):
• Spring Boot framework
• Postman
• CI / CD (Gitlab / GitlabCI, Docker, Kubernetes)
