- Collaboration on open source / Linux foundation projects
- Define and lead technical consulting projects in the area of software development with focus on Linux
- Linking needs of industrial software projects with existing open source components and supporting the selection, integration and further development of open source softwares
- Evaluate and use emerging technologies and software engineering methodologies
- Designing and working on research topics in the area of Linux-based real-time systems, virtualization, IoT connectivity, and related topics
- Realization of prototypes
Your profile
- Several years of experience in designing and implementing software systems in C/C++ or Python, IoT and Edge systems
- Contributions to research and development in the areas of IoT systems and applications desirable
- Sound knowledge of open source culture and related code sharing platforms (e.g. Github, Gitlab)
- Experience in one or more of these areas: Real-time Linux system design and analysis, core development, continuous integration, automated testing (LAVA in particular) desirable
- Fluent English skills
