For our multinational client based in Germany we are looking for a contractor to work as a Test Validation Engineer and to support their team remotely
Key tasks include:
- Participating in the development and production readiness of their platform, a new software-as-a-service product
- Following the Scrum development process (sprints of 2 weeks)
- Supporting the definition and implementation of automated test procedures to have full coverage of the recontract quired features for the product launch
- Taking ownership of specific test scenarios and implement them, providing feedback to the development team
- Supporting solution cloud deployment for a production ready solution
- Producing the relevant documentation
- Participating in the Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective meetings
Expectations:
- 3+ years experience in Java Programming
- 3+ years experience with automated testing system (eg Serenity, Selenium, )
- 3+ years experience with GitLab & SonarQube
- 5+ years Develop test plans and strategies
- Understanding of HTML structure
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud
- Experience in taking a product from development to production, from a validation perspective
- Ability to write rigorous and simple procedures in English
- Ability to work in a team
- English language required
The work is fully remote and could be done anywhere from Europe.
