For our great fintech client based in Berlin we are urgently looking for a JavaScript Engineer (m/f/d) for a onside role.Assignment description.
The Web Automation Core team is looking for a JavaScript Engineer(m/f/d) to join the clients vision to automate the web at a big scale. Very Big Scale.
The challenge they are addressing is that of a better end-user experience for the users of the Clients App. Filling forms, scraping data from pages on the fly, autonomously clicking buttons, intelligent keyboard suggestions and everything web related that enables them to provide the best shopping experience across
all e-commerce websites world wide through reverse integration.
The Client has millions of daily active users so our impact is phenomenal, and equally big is the amount of data they have at their hands to further validate and train their systems. Their tools are a combination of clever algorithms, machine learning and heuristic analysis, all working in tandem to perfectly understand the web
pages their users navigate through and provide convenient features to make their shopping journey as pleasant as it can possibly be.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Feature development
- Expansion of our tracking, logging and telemetry
- Bug fixing
- On call
- Integration of systems within the Clients App
Required skills:
- Fullstack Javascript Developer
- Javascript / Typescript (preferred)
- Node.js
- Experience with any javascript UI framework
- A taste for algorithms, analytics and problem solving
Required Skill-set:
- Typescript, NodeJS, some knowledge of React or React Native, ReduxJS
- Other information important for assignment
Plus points for:
- “Low level” dom manipulation (yes this includes jQuery as a plus, but not because we’d use it)
- Backend
- Degree in Computer Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Electronic engineering
- Touchpoints with machine learning or big data analytics
- Jenkins
- Puppeteer
- Electron
- React
- Redux
Consultant will be required to be available on-call?

Workload: 40 hours/week
