Appian Senior Designer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Provide effort estimations, define, design, develop, implement and run Appian applications throughout the entire application life cycle based on governance process & artefacts
- Gather functional and non-functional requirements and propose conceptual technical solutions
- Advise stakeholders and address risks proactively
- Develop APIs to integrate Appian with multiple systems
- Collaborate with cross functional IT teams and business experts throughout the entire agile software development life cycle
Main qualifications
- Strong proficiency in agile software development practices
- Deep Knowledge developing integrations using APIs such as REST and SOAP
- Knowledge in cloud / service-based architecture (preferably based on Microsoft technologies)
- Experience working with relational databases (preferably Microsoft SQL Server)
- Knowledge of relational database design or database modeling
- Ideally, knowledge of business processes in the insurance industry
- Ideally, experience in leading Appian designer / developer teams
- Object oriented programming languages (preferably .NET)
- Knowledge of software testing practice; test-driven development, setup and execution of automated test suites
