Azure Data Engineer

Location: Munich (Must be onsite)
Duration: 6 months (possibly 12 months)
Project Language: German

What You’ll Do
• Design data integrations and data quality framework
• Work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long-term data platform architecture
• Automate cloud infrastructure, services, and observability
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and testing automation
• Develop, refine and educate the data community on coding standards and best practices

Required Skills and Experience
• Hands on experience and demonstrated proficiency in ETL, data modelling, data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components and reporting/analytic tools, preferably architecting a data lake or data warehouse
• Hands-on experience in Python, SQL and NOSQL.
• Strong understanding of Databricks and the Azure platform.
• Though Data Engineers typically have a field of concentration, Data Engineers may work with a wide variety of Azure, Programming, and Database technologies. Ideal candidates have a broad range of experience with Azure Services, Database Technologies, and Programming Language
• Experience building code-driven infrastructure on public cloud platforms
• Ideally Understanding of dimensional modelling, and analytical data warehouses, like Snowflake
• Experience with automation frameworks/tools like Terraform, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible
• Experience with cloud data related services
