we are currently looking for an:BI Developer
for a bank project in Frankfurt am Main (remote)
Your Role:
An experienced Business Intelligence developer who has expertise across a range of BI platforms and strong understanding of data modelling.
• Experience across a range of BI platforms with a particular focus on Tableau.
• Able to create Tableau dashboards based on data from various different data connectors
• Understanding of performance limitations and optimisations on the Tableau platform.
• Experience with Web Connectors
• Ideally has worked on a project sourcing data from Jira.
• Strong Data Modelling understanding and the cost and benefit trade-offs of different physical schemas.
• Experience tuning and optimising SQL query performance.
• Strong SQL and relational database background.
• Project artefacts are documented and tracked.
• Working on agreed time, cost and quality parameters within the agreed scope.
• Analyses and identifies possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve them or escalate as appropriate.
• Demonstrates personal commitment to supporting colleagues within the team.
• Prior experience of working in a major german bank (Platform and Infrastructure) will be helpful.
Skills You’ll Need
• 4+ years of BI platform experience
• 2+ years Tableau experience.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases. Ideally PostgreSQL.
Language: fluent English (C-Level) is a MUST
Start: ASAP (duration 6+ months with extension option)
Location: Frankfurt (REMOTE / Home Office)
