We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to join our upcoming project on identifying and developing the digitalization potential of the company. Initially the possible use cases will be collected, deepened, and validated. The project will concentrate on use cases across divisional boundaries, where the optimization possibilities are still unexplored and where new data sources may result in new opportunities.You will be prioritizing specific topics for data-driven control, particularly at the interfaces within production. You will identify and coordinate relevant strategies for data analysis and linking, therefore you need an extensive experience in methodology for data analysis and linking along the value chain. As an expert you will define measure for the optimization of profitability, productivity and quality as well as the subsequent derivation of business cases. Moreover, you will coordinate the analysis measures with the technical and IT departments. Further responsibilities are to prepare the analysis results in workshops and to forecast ideas based on methodological knowledge and technical challenges. Finally, you will be creating a roadmap for implementation in headquarters and regions.

Experience:
- Extensive experience with application of data exploration (5 years)
- Coordination of analysis and forecasting goals, and data science methods in the context of the respective use case
- Creative investigation and linking of data sources from different perspectives
- Excellent ability of structuring and communicating analysis results in writing, verbally and visually
- Classification of analyzes and recommendations for action in the larger business context
- Agile methods of project management (Scrum, Kanban)
