We are looking for consultants to populate a DevOps Scrum Team for an Edge Computing Platform.Security and/or Test Automation Engineers (w/m/d)
Start: August or September 2021
End: The project runs until end of year at least, but is supposed to continue in 2022
Place of performance: 100 % Remote
Be a team member in a DevOps Scrum Team:
The team will take responsibility of and be enhancing a new Edge Computing Platform as a Service.
The platform will connect the customers campus OT with both his Business IT and in direct loop with his campus again.
The data generated by the Campus OT will be collected, analyzed, aggregated and formatted. Apps running on the platform (like AR/VR, AGV, …) will control direct actions executed on the campus or feed Business Processes running in the Business IT or both.
The platform is already set up based on distributed kubernetes clusters and remote worker nodes using Open Shift (OCP / PaaS) and EdgAIR, both assets of PU Public Cloud. As The EdgAIR now offers a container runtime, the team will eliminate Open Shift an setup a CI/CD and management layer for the services running in the remote worker nodes. This includes creation of runbooks and setup of monitoring.
The team also will need to launch and operate typical services like IAM (keycloak), logging (Graylog), forwarding (FluentD) etc.
The platform will have to be dynamically integrated into customer environments and most likely 5G Campus Networks.
The team also will have to launch, integrate and operate further services as platform services like:
• IIoT management services
• Campus integration services
• Databases (Influx, MongoDb, Postgres …)
• Data management and analytics services
• Backup and restore services
• Integrated frontend to this services
• API definition, implementation and documentation
• and whatever will come along …
